As a fundraiser for the House of Netjer, a Kemetic Orthodox temple, we are selling die-cast plastic car decals in the shape of udjats. As far as I know, these are first-of-a-kind, anywhere in the world! They are manufactured from high-quality, durable plastic, in both silvertone and goldtone, and will stay affixed through countless car washes and all kinds of weather. They measure 3" by 2-1/8". If you add a small magnet, they also work well as refrigerator magnets. We are asking a minimum donation of $10 (plus $ 5.00 shipping and handling), but more would be appreciated. ALL of the money raised will go to the House of Netjer, so please contribute as much as you can. :)

The Eye of Heru, the Udjat Eye, is a protective amulet used throughout Kemetic history. The mythological story of the Contendings of Heru and Set tell that the Eye of Heru was returned after being damaged by Set, and it was then healed by Djehuty. The word "udjat" means "the whole or the restored one."

If you are interested in owning an udjat for your car, please send an email to neferuhethert at aol.com and indicate how many you would like, and whether you would like goldtone or silvertone. I will figure out shipping and let you know how much it will be for the number you wish to purchase. Checks can be made out to The House of Netjer if you wish. I'll forward them to the House after shipping your udjats and you will receive a receipt for your tax-deductible contribution.
